Alexandros joined Athens International Airport in April 2016 and now holds the Director position of Information Technology & Telecommunications Business Unit. His main responsibilities include:

Providing effective and reliable IT&T services to both internal and external stakeholders operating within the boundaries of Athens International Airport.
Advising management and supporting decision-making to align business strategy with technology.

Facilitating innovation and digital transformation by adopting solutions and services such as mobile technology, robotics, biometrics, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial and Big Data intelligence to improve operational efficiency, performance, and passenger experience.

An experienced IT professional with 25 years in senior roles within the banking sector and other reputable organizations, including HSBC Bank and Allianz Hellas. He has managed new business ventures, development activities, and projects, aligning them with strategy, available technologies, and market trends.
He has a particular focus on and analytical skills in team management, organizational effectiveness, and change management. His expertise includes designing operating models, process reengineering, and standardization.
